IT'S TIME FOR SPRING CLEANING YOUR AIRPLANE.
Now that Spring is upon us and summer is coming quickly, you need to start protecting your aircraft from summer heat, UV Rays, acid rain, and other harsh elements that can destroy your aircraft's exterior surface.
One of the first items you need to take care of is your aircraft's painted surfaces. A thorough wet wash and degrease using our Safety Wash and Hydrasolve is perfect. A really thorough wet wash and degrease will prepare your aircraft painted surfaces for a good paint polishing to protect it throughout the summer.
The next item of importance will be the exterior painted surfaces. If your paint has light to medium oxidation, you will want to buff it out with our Supreme Glaze to get the paint to a like new appearance and feel. Once the paint is clean, the best way to protect the paint is to add a good coat of our Liquid Diamond Paint Sealant. Liquid Diamond will create a barrier from the harsh elements that will attack your exterior surfaces over the summer. Plus it's safe to add more coats each month throughout the summer.
Last, but certainly not least, is your aircrafts brightwork. Summer sun is brutal on aircraft polished metal. A good brightwork polish with our Skai Metal Polish will do the job for you. Make sure to complete the job with our anti oxidizing agent Mirror Image to seal the metal and you will be good to go.
