Skai Metal Polish System - How to Polish Aircraft Brightwork in Just 2 Steps

Jet Stream Aviation Products is happy to announce that our newest product has now become available to the public!

"Skai Aircraft Metal Polish - Step 2 Finish Polish" is our newest product and is going to be replacing Mirror Image as our superior brightwork finishing polish.

Mirror Image, used since the 1990s, consisted of a surgical cotton roll that was soaked in a metal polish formula. A small part of the cotton was ripped off and applied by hand to freshly polished brightwork. The side-to-side application lessened any swirls that were left behind by the wool pad and rotary buffer. This process worked well for a long time, but the application process and technology of newer products left Mirror Image behind as an inferior product in the fast-growing and competitive aircraft detailing field.

Now, after much testing, our Skai Step 2 Finish Polish has proven itself as a product that will effectively remove swirls when paired with an orbital polisher and fleece bonnet. After using our Step 1 Cutting Polish, simply dab the Step 2 Finish Polish onto the brightwork and spread the product with the fleece bonnet. Then, turn the orbital polisher on and slowly work the product side-to-side and up-and-down until the swirls disappear.

Skai Step 2 Finish Polish is not sticky and works very quickly. Some competitors' products that we also tested became very tacky and hard to remove during the final polish process. However, Skai Step 2 Finish Polish cleared in only a handful of passes across the metal surface. We are excited to be releasing this new product, and we look forward to our customers achieving easy, great results on brightwork polishing!
