Tape off de-ice boots using 2” painter’s tape, curling the long edge of the tape off of the surface to prevent Pbs Prep from reaching painted surfaces.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e2. Apply Pbs Prep directly to de-ice boots and spread product evenly using Jet Stream’s De-ice Boot Scrubbing Sponge.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e3. Allow Pbs Prep to remain on de-ice boot for 2-5 minutes. This will soften all old boot treatments.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e4. Soak the De-ice Boot Scrubbing Sponge in water and agitate the de-ice boot to remove any old boot treatment residue.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e5. Smears are caused from using dirty towels or paper towels. Plexiglass is very soft and can scratch very easily. Make sure towels are clean.
